I've always tried to raise my children with good manners. A "Please" and "Thank You" can go a very long way with me. In the shop nothing is cuter when a little two-year old says thank you for a lollipop or their train ticket after a haircut.
As Bella gets older and goes to more and more birthday parties I've noticed we almost always receive a Thank You card from the children for their gift and for attending the party. It's funny because Bella always wants to send another one back thanking the person for inviting her.
