Ok, so I'm not sure if your baby has ever woke up and you swore that they had a nightmare. I know mine have and I have always wondered what in the world could they possibly be having a bad dream about, they are just babies. Well, now I know.
Mia woke up at 3:15 this morning (she is 3 so I am counting her in the baby category as far as having bad dreams go), sobbing and hyperventilating and inconsolable. When I could finally get her to talk she started asking me for Percy, then Thomas... then all her trains. Once she had her pile safely in hand (luckily she doesn't have that many), she started talking about the toilet. From what I can gather from between her sobs was that she must have had a dream that she flushed them down the toilet and they were gone.
Mia has flushed a pacifier, lip gloss and who knows what else down the toilet before and I've always had to explain that they were gone, that's why you don't flush things down the toilet. She also freaks out and has to make sure all her tub toys are out before we begin to let the water out after a bath so they don't go down the drain.
It might have been a little funny, her bad dream of flushing her Thomas trains down the toilet, if it wasn't 3:00 in the morning.

This weekend August 2nd and 3rd, Country Village is starting the first of what should surely be a fun annual event, Awesome August... a weekend for kids.
